Overview of Mink Immunity and Resistance to Pseudomonas aeruginosa

چکیده

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is one of the most host-susceptible pathogenic bacteria to cause acute and chronic infections in humans animals. Notably, its infection can especially fatal infectious pneumonia minks. Many previous mink studies have investigated pathology, pathogenesis, serology, antimicrobial resistance, virulence gene, vaccination, related diseases P. aeruginosa. However, relationship with immunity resistance relatively less studied that needs more elaborations. Therefore, we here provide a comprehensive review about pathogenesis hemorrhagic four major aspects. They include characterization, infection, immunity, aeruginosa, their implication perspective, which aim contribute useful valuable information further research clinical treatment avoid potential spreading.

Relation between Resistance to Antipseudomonal β-Lactams and ampC and mexC Genes of Pseudomonas aeruginosa

Background: In order to select a better antibiotic choice for treatment of Pseudomonas aeruginosa infections, this study was conducted to determine the frequency of resistance to some antipseudomonal β-lactams in P. aeruginosa isolates from patients in Tehran, Iran. In addition, the relation between presence of genes known to be responsible for resist...

Antimicrobial Resistance Profile of Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Strains

Abstract Background and Objectives: Pseudomonas aeruginosa is the most common organism, which is separated from the burn infections.  Due to increased antibiotic resistance, there are many problems to deal with the infections caused by Pseudomonas aeruginosa. This study aimed to determine the resistance to antibiotics against clinical isolates of Pseudomonas using phenotype me...

Antibiotic resistance profiles of Pseudomonas aeruginosa isolates containing virulence genes

Background: A most common opportunistic pathogen, Pseudomonas aeruginosa is present in both humans and animals and responsible for various nosocomial infections and healthcare settings related infections. Different virulence genes like; oprL (membrane lipoprotein L) and toxA (exotoxin A i.e. ETA) in P. aeruginosa, assist in its pathogenicity, toxicity and contribute to high antibiotic resistanc...

Pseudomonas aeruginosa: all roads lead to resistance.

Pseudomonas aeruginosa is often resistant to multiple antibiotics and consequently has joined the ranks of 'superbugs' due to its enormous capacity to engender resistance. It demonstrates decreased susceptibility to most antibiotics due to low outer membrane permeability coupled to adaptive mechanisms and can readily achieve clinical resistance. Newer research, using mutant library screens, mic...
